When my grandmother began dialysis treatments, I witnessed firsthand how difficult it was to secure dependable transportation. There were days filled with uncertainty, wondering if her ride would arrive on time, and moments when patients were left waiting outside for extended periods. For individuals already facing serious medical challenges, that added stress is unacceptable. Care Forward Transport was created to raise the standard of non-emergency medical transportation in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
